What´s Instagram?
Instagram is a free social media platform where you can share and create content with your followers. This content goes from videos, to pictures, to deep heartfelt paragraphs, and you can choose where you want to share them publicly or in a more private setting.
Why have we chosen Instagram?
The reason behind our choice was its fame. Instagram is a very famous social media platform that almost everybody has access to, that's the reason why it is one of the best options to create a virtual learning community. Instagram is also really easy to control, search and have access to your favorite contents, or in our case, to be able to share our work with music in education.
What do I think in general about the use of virtual learning communities and why do I think that?
I think the use of virtual learning communities is very helpful as you can search for things you need within the confort of your own house, It also erases the shame or awkwardness that might bring having to learn new things with a thousand eyes on you if you try to do it in a public setting. I think it´s perfect and really helps people with social anxiety, like me, to step out of our confort zone but with some sort of a safety net just in case.
